Mixed reactions to EPA’s decision on RFS? There's No Mixed reaction needed. No Fuel From Food, not hard to understand that and do not mix with gasoline! Give the people a break on the price of fuel that pay your government wages. Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, vehicle manufactures Produce and the population ‘Drives’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! XII/XXII/MMXII!

Corn ethanol may reduce our dependence on foreign energy or it may not. The energy expended to produce it and ship it is arguably more than the energy produced by it. Certainly there is something better!

“. . . proponents believe the RFS is a key tool for shifting the country toward clean, renewable and domestic energy.”
What folks need to understand is that ethanol in gasoline increases fuel consumption so that more petroleum is consumed than would be the case with pure gasoline. Ethanol in fuel is a lose-lose-lose situation.

Ethanol is not efficient for propulsion and a lot of people voted it down on gasbuddy pool. EPA should take note.

All of the EPA regulations should be reviewed and balanced against economic concerns. Many EPA regulations could go the way of the Dodo. If the EPA regulations were rolled back to the end of the Clinton years; the US would be in much better economic condition.

That's right, suzmar. The EPA is in O'bummer's back pocket. Hope all the handout junkies that voted for him are happy.
