Gas Prices Down Another Three Cents This Week

Consumer Affairs -- The price of gasoline continued to drift lower for another week, with the average price three cents a gallon less than it was a week ago.

The national average price of self-serve regular today is $3.524 per gallon, down from $3.555 last Friday, according to AAA's Fuel Gauge Survey. Fuel prices are 20 cents a gallon lower than they were a month ago.

Well it has been going down around here, more than three cents, but still not low enough.

I'm seeing $3.39-3.49 now in this area.

Gas well above national average here and we are in oil country where the crude price is $78 a barrel, not $104. Don't get the math.

Gasoline is just about at $4.00 a gallon here. I'll stick with diesel. It's really cleaner, produces 30% more energy per gallon and gives about 33% better mpg.

Gasoline is about 5 cents cheaper than it was a month ago but I'm sure the state officials here in Washington state will hear about that and raise taxes on it again.
