How stuff works -- Getting into a car accident is bad enough, what with the wrecked car, the possible injuries the auto insurance claim. What's worse is that in rare cases that accident was a planned, coordinated effort, and innocent drivers become the pawns in an auto insurance scam.

Fraud, including insurance scams, is the second-most burdensome financial crime in the United States, behind only tax evasion. And it's far more common than you think -- experts say that more than 20 percent of bodily injury claims and 10 percent of auto damage claims as the result of car accidents are bogus [source: Edmunds].

Will it be today to get into an accident or maybe it will never happen. Watch for scams and avoid as much as possible, much of it depends on the area you are in at the time. Sometimes the scam cannot be avoided and it will be your turn to deal with it. Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, are very reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. Consider using other forms of less expensive transportation to lower your cost, if possible. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! 12/22/2012!
