leave the oil pumps run and not regulate a schedule on pumping. this country has enough oil without importing, state of kansas has enough to last this country alone fore 10 years without the othe other oil producers.all we need is refineries and paying big bonuses to CEO's . give some bonuses to the emplyees who deserve it

I saw a discussion on CNBC, with Donald Trump about another topic, but he brought up in the discussion about the trumped up (not related)idea of oil shortage, he said there are so many tanker's anchored at sea, because there is not enough storage available for port. The Oil companies trump this crap about supply and demand, they are now jacking prices through the roof on the idea that the economy is making the supply outweigh the demand...That is so far outrageous, I hope you all can see it. The EPA say's, that because we got smart, and started buying vehicles that have higher MPG, that America has declined it's fuel demand by over 20percent, on top of we drive far fewer miles than we used to. They will say anything to jack their prices up! Drive less, Buy smarter. These people are so greedy, it makes me sick! I don't know how these rich Bi@%*es sleep at night! The CEO of 76 said 2 days ago on CNN that Gas prices will go up to $5 per gallon within a year because the economy is creating more demand in the USA, and CHINA, and Japan, because the economy and demand is increasing. I say B.S.!! Curb your use just to deny them! Thank you, Mitch

They will mysteriously disappear overnight to be replaced by strange symbols which will be studied intensely by a bevy of government agencies.

Isn't the dollar going to stay down and sediment is improving. Why should gas prices trend lower?

unfortunately, until something is done to prevent prices from rising and falling with the whim of the day, prices will continue to rise. I find it interesting how just 20 years ago you could get a gallon of gas for a buck. The way they keep us from pushing back on the prices is by raising them to a ridiculous amount then when we balk they lower them but not to where they were. this gives us a false feeling that we have accomplished something however the next time they raise them they do the same thing thus pushing the acceptable norm a little higher.

In order to Promote the Green agenda, Electric Autos, etc. We must have Higher Fuel Prices!
Rather than, work to achieve our own, Energy Independence. We, rather, have let congress continue to discourage developing our own sources of fuels!
(Fossil Fuels- Oil, Natural Gas & Coal) Oil which we will never be able to do without. We will always need the lubrication in order to make our machines move more freely.
Natural Gas a great heating source. Coal never been fully developed.

Higher, which is why we need alternatives in this country, and we need them now! Airports and highways can only expand so far, and encourage automobile usage.
Bring us electric vehicles for the cities, and High Speed Trains for transport between urban centers. Those, along with better public transportation, will help us to get awway from the oil-filled teets.

We are going to lose our status in the world because the dollar is losing global status. The dollar is slowly going to be replaced by another currency which will make it woarthless because we continue to print more money every day.

The big problem is when gas goes up so does everything else, food, clothes everything. Combine trips. Grocery shop for 2 weeks at a time. Plan outings......

Thanks to the actions of our US Congress and the current Administration and its regulatory agencies and the Federal Reserve, the US dollar is declining and will continue to do so. Since our all-knowing Federal Government which continues to trample our Constitution, has curtailed new oil and gas exploration and refining in this country, and we currently must purchase 2/3 of the oil and gas we use from other countries, the prices of gas, oil and everything else we import will continue to escalate.

All the cheap oil is recovered. The price will go up until the world falls back into recession. Eventually there will be major wars over resources.
