Hi Bob, I was trying to collect a sample of coins from every country in the world, then they started making new countries and renaming the old ones. Then I specialized on Great Britain and tried to collect coins representing all of their kings and queens. Back in the late 70s the collection was worth $3,000+ and I sort of put it aside. When I retired in '06, I dug the collection out and had it appraised. They offered a little less than $2,000 and were only really interested in the coins with silver content. Very discouraging, so I have pretty much given it up. I don't even know what coins are worth anymore. Hope that you have a great week there in Atlanta. Thanks for becoming my newest buddy.
