Someone must be on my ignore list, and for good reason if they think Chavez is a good guy.

Chavez is a punk dictator ruining what was a promising economy.

>Read an unbiased account of your America at it's most corrupt best. And why Chavez is a good guy and not what the Republican media spin is telling you.<

Are you really serious? I was eating when I read that and almost choked because that statement is so profoundly insane.

Chavez a good guy. This good guy rigged two elections and is stifling his opposition through government controls and imprisonment. His little fiefdom is fully under his control. Now he is using his single greatest asset, oil, as a tool to spread his vile brand of propaganda. He is virtually ignored as a tyrant because as of yet, he has not engaged in the brutality that Saddam did in Iraq, but give it another three or so years. Do you honestly think for a minute that Baby Huey and Citgo give a flip about helping America's poor with heating oil assistance?

Republican media spin. Not outside of the possible exception FOX News Channel, the New York Post, and a small handful of magazines, none of which are in the top twenty five in circulation. Even most of the ardent Daily Kos fans do not believe that remark. The media is so liberal, on a scale > 6 to 1, that to suggest a conservative fix is either an outright lie or a glaring example of your lack of knowledge on the subject.

Read an unbiased account of your America at it's most corrupt best. And why Chavez is a good guy and not what the Republican media spin is telling you.

John Perkins, "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" and his most current, "The Secret History of the American Empire".

The first book tells how John got to be a Hit Man, why he continued and why he wrote about it even tho his life was threatened several times if he told the story.

The second is a follow-up, more detail, names names. I can't seem to put it down.
